You can even obtain some popular songs from these series to use whenever you’d like as you play! Here’s everything you need to know about the collab before it leaves soon.

⏲️ When Will the Persona & Sonic Collab End?

The Sonic and Persona collab originally dropped last Christmas on December 25th, 2025. However, just like the banners, players are pretty used to events and updates coming and going quickly. Thankfully this time around, you don’t need to rush to complete the event and get all the collab rewards! Instead of just a few weeks, the collab ends on February 4th, 2026! Want an easier way to keep up with events and fight against hard bosses? You can buy Wuthering Waves top up here to help!

🔒 How Do You Unlock the Collab?

To gain access to the collaboration, you’ll have to do more than just log into the game. Players will also need to complete parts of the main Wuthering Waves storyline until they reach Chapter 3 Act 1. You’ll need to complete the mission called What Burns Beneath the Frostlands and activate the Resonance Nexus in the Startorch Academy after meeting Lynae. This is essential considering that Lynae is the newest debut character in the game. After that, you should be able to view the collab missions from the featured events menu.

👑 The Persona 5 Royal Missions

All the missions during the collab, especially the ones for Persona, revolve around the new Motorcycle vehicles added alongside Lynae. Lynae’s signature vehicle to get around the Lahai-Roi regions is with her bike, and all your characters will get to ride one too! However, you’ll also get to customize the bike with Modding and Expansion levels. While Modding upgrades increase the basic Speed and Shield specs, Expansions focus on special abilities for the bike instead.

To complete the Persona 5 Royal missions, you’ll just need to focus on upgrading the Modding levels on your motorcycle. This is why completing the storyline chapters are necessary to get the vehicle permit to begin with. Doing so will automatically unlock the first reward. To increase your Modding level, all you need to do is open Chests and complete more quests around the world to gain Modding Experience points.

🎭 The Persona 3 Reload Missions

To upgrade your bike, you’ll be looking at the Expansion Modules for it a lot. This menu tree lists out all the important upgrades you can achieve using Modding Points, which are separate from Modding EXP for Modding levels. Collecting Modding Points is what the Persona 3 Reload missions are all about. To get more Modding Points, you’ll just need to complete more tasks similar to how you’d gain Modding EXP.

Since getting Modding Points is necessary to upgrade your bike, and also complete Expansion Modules necessary for the Sonic missions, you likely won’t need to focus too hard on this part of the event. If you’re wanting to get either the Persona 5 Royal or Sonic rewards, you’ll also be doing what’s necessary to get the Persona 3 Reload missions completed too. 🦔 The Sonic the Hedgehog Missions

Similar to the Persona 3 Reload missions, you won’t need to keep track of this set if you’re already working on the Persona 5 Royal ones. That’s because the Sonic missions focus on collecting Modding EXP, which is required to complete the Persona 5 Modding Level requirements. To get more EXP, you’ll need to open Supply Chests that are found around Lahai-Roi, defeat enemies, and side quests.

To actually gain more Modding EXP though, you have to be riding your bike at the same time. This means getting some good motorcycle driving practice in as you navigate the region. That includes being able to use it in combat too, otherwise you lose out on the potential EXP for practically the whole collab!

Going over the liveries first, they’re special cosmetics for your new bike that are Persona or Sonic themed. Each mission set comes with two liveries from their perspective games. Once the collab ends in February though, they’re gone forever!

As for the new soundtracks, each set also gets two tracks from their specific game. While Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload get some of their most iconic songs added, the Sonic collab doesn’t focus on a specific game as a whole. However, the songs for the collab are actually iconic tracks from Sonic Frontiers, which are Find Your Flame and Undefeatable. All the songs can be played from your motorcycle while driving or as background music through your settings.
